Internet Security Products

One of DunnCo's core areas of expertise is in the Network and Internet Security fields.  Paul Dunn is a noted speaker and lecturer on the topics surrounding cyber security and protection.

We've assembled a list of recommended products to aid you in your quest to keep your network and systems protected from the WWW (Wild, WIld, West) that is today's Internet.

Freeware

These products are produced and distributed by their publishers free of charge to the public.  Some of these products are limited versions of a full-priced published package, while others may simply ask for a donation to the publisher if the user finds value in the product. 

Shareware

Shareware products generally are distributed free of charge, and are intended to be used for a short period of time while you try the products and decide whether to continue using them.  In some cases, they will "shut off" following a number of days, and in others, the publisher simply relies on the "honor system" to insure that you purchase the product if you continue using it.

Downloadable/Trial Software

Nearly every software publisher - from very small to the very, very big (example: Microsoft) offers downloadable trial versions of their products.  Most trial versions will offer full product operation for a limited time, and then will either "cripple" or shut down until you purchase them.

The nice thing about trials is that you truly do get to "try before you buy."   You can save yourself hundreds of dollars on a product that doesn't fit your needs by checking out the trial first.
